According to the report, both Tottenham and Chelsea tried to sign the 25-year-old in the January window and are still interested in obtaining his signature.

Kurzawa, a French international, is under contract with PSG until 2020 and is expected to cost around €25m.

The 5’10 defender signed for the French champions from Monaco in 2015, costing PSG €22.5m.

He has made 20 Ligue 1 appearances this season, playing 90 minutes in only 16 games and he has reportedly been told by the club that he can leave this summer.

Arsenal are aid to be looking for a Nacho Monreal replacement as the Spaniard moves into the twilight of his career. Although they purchased Sead Kolasinac in the summer to do just this, the Bosnian does not seem to have convinced Arsene Wenger that he is the right man for the job.

That being said, Wenger will not be at the club next season so it’s hard to understand how the club are making decisions about playing positions before a new manager has even been contacted until you realise they are handing power over to Sven Mislintat.

Mislintat has reportedly identified a long-term replacement for Nacho Monreal as one of four positions he wants to strengthen this summer, so let’s look at who he could sign…
