Max Allegri will sit down with Juventus to discuss his future as he continues to be linked heavily with the Arsenal job but has said he will be at Juventus next season unless they fire him.

Sealing another Serie A title for Juventus at the weekend, Allegri only put pen to paper on a new deal with the Old Lady last summer.

Despite four league and cup doubles to his name, he has a shadow hanging over his head due to his failure to win the Champions League however Juventus are keen for him to stay.

Allegri was asked about his future after their title celebrations on Sunday. “My future? I’ll have to talk to the management, in the meantime, I’m going to the beach tomorrow,” he said.

“If they don’t fire me, then I think I’m staying at Juventus next season too,” added Allegri.

“It’s not an issue of decisions on the future, it’s about planning what the future of Juventus will be, because once we’ve finished celebrating, we have to sit around a table with clear heads.

“When the next season begins, we all start from zero points and must continue proving we are competitive.”

According to a report in Italy over the weekend, Arsenal would have to wait until 20 May to get an answer from Allegri about the now-vacant Arsenal managerial position but it seems as if they already have it.

Matteo Pedrosi, a journalist for Calciomercato and other Italian outlets, claimed Arsenal were pushing to bring the 50-year-old to North London and Allegri would make his decision when the Serie A season ends next weekend.

It seems he decided that he didn’t need to wait that long after all…
