Arsenal fell to Chelsea in the FA Cup final on Saturday in front of a record 45,000-strong crowd, but how did the players get on individually?

Player ratings

1Sari Van Veenendaal 6.5

Made the saves she had to do but could not do much about the top quality goals by Bachmann and Kirby.

2Lisa Evans 6

Unable to offer her usual attacking contribution on the right side of the pitch. Like the whole back four, suffered against a strong attacking Chelsea line-up.

3Leah Williamson 6

A neutral performance from the young centre-back.

4Louise Quinn 7

A good performance with many saving tackles and interceptions. Unlucky to deflect a Bachmann shot past her goalie.

5Emma Mitchell 5

A day to forget for the Scottish full-back, who was given a football lesson by the Chelsea forwards with the three goals coming from her side of the pitch.

6Dominique Janssen 6

Booked and replaced early in the second half when the manager went for attack. Did her duty as usual.

7Danielle Van De Donk  6

Positioned in the defensive midfielder role that negates her attacking qualities.

8Jordan Nobbs 6

Did not see enough of the ball on the right wing and was unable to influence the game beyond the first 15 minutes.

9Kim Little 6.5

Did not influence the game enough despite being placed in her natural number 10 role. Created one big chance for Miedema and tried to make the midfielder tick but it was a tough game overall.

10Anna Miedema 6

Scored an important goal but also missed a crucial chance earlier in the game when 1-0 down just before Chelsea scored their second. As usual, she seemed quite isolated up front as the team struggled to give her the ball in the penalty area.

11Bethany Mead 7

Managed to get an assist and was dangerous when the team passed her the ball with her runs down the left wing. Just a shame she did not see enough of the ball.
