Arsenal have reportedly ‘arranged everything’ with Zeljko Buvac, Jurgen Klopp’s assistant who dramatically quit this week, and he is expected to take over from Arsene Wenger this summer.

Buvac, who has been Klopp’s assistant for 18 years, is now at home to ‘recharge his batteries’ but according to Bosnian publication, Pravda BL in an exclusive, more details will emerge in the next few days.

According to both the Bosnian publication and Sport Witness, Pravda BL were the outlet that broke the story of Klopp joining Liverpool in 2015 seven days before anyone else.

So far today in stories I’ve covered or ignored from the press around the world, Arsenal are confident of landing Allegri, are close to signing Paulo Fonseca, and have no clue who will take over. They have also, apparently, agreed a deal ‘in principle’ with Carlo Ancelotti according to the Daily Star

Now we can add Buvac’s name to the growing short list.

It had been initially rumoured that Buvac would head to Manchester City, freeing up Mikel Arteta.

He is also being linked with the Borussia Dortmund job

Buvac is known as ‘The Brain’ behind Klopp’s ‘project’.
