According to Kicker, Arsenal have offered €15m for Sokratis while Borussia Dortmund want €18m, a difference that the two clubs are expected to sort out sooner rather than later.

Over the weekend, it was claimed that Sokratis would become Arsenal’s first signing under Unai Emery.

Sokratis is out of contract next summer and the 29-year-old has reportedly decided he wants to link up with former Dortmund men, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Kicker claim that everything is agreed, with the fee between the two clubs the only matter left to be resolved.
