Yassin Fortune has confirmed he is leaving Arsenal after three years at the club that were ruined by injury.

The 19-year-old signed for the club in 2015 along with Jeff Reine-Adelaide.

If you remember, that was the window when Arsenal bought only Petr Cech for the first team.

Despite being at the club for three years, Fortune made only 22 appearances for the Arsenal u18s, u19s (UEFA) and u23s, netting two and assisting three.

This season he made only five appearances in Premier League 2 and he never made it to the Arsenal first team.

The Jeff, his colleague who arrived at the same time, has had injury problems of his own.

He has spent this season on loan with SCO Angers where he has made eight appearances in Ligue 1.

Unlike Fortune, his contract runs until next summer although it is not clear what his future holds at Arsenal despite being the more talented of the pair.
