Mauricio Pochettino recently revealed that he would rather work on a farm that be in charge of Arsenal, which works out well as he’d never be hired in the first place.
Obviously, Pochettino is Spurs’ manager and therefore has to at least pretend that he despises Arsenal.
“For me it’s the same question as before. I am so clear. I am never going to be manager of Barcelona or Arsenal because I am so identified with Tottenham and Espanyol,” he said.
“I grew up at Newell’s Old Boys and will never manage Rosario Central. That is my decision because I prefer to work on my farm in Argentina than in some places. But my commitment is massive in this club. I am working like I am going to be here forever.”
I do find it pretty amusing that anyone, Poch’ included, would even entertain the notion that Arsenal would hire the ex-Southampton man. I mean, firstly, Arsene Wenger will probably still be in charge of the Gunners long after the Argentine has retired.
The idea of Poch’ being put in charge of Arsenal is bizarre, to say the least.
Here are 10 reasons why the Gunners would never dream of hiring him.
