Arsene Wenger has announced the latest team news ahead of Arsenal’s Europa League clash against AC Milan on Thursday and it’s good.

Wenger says that, after tests, everyone’s available for the second leg of the European tie this week.

Apart from Alexandre Lacazette, of course, who’s still recovering from knee surgery and won’t be back in action until after the international break at the end of March.

Presumably, Santi Cazorla’s also not available but that sadly goes without saying now.

There were major doubts hanging over Shkodran Mustafi, who experienced a groin problem after Arsenal’s 3-0 win over Watford on Sunday. However, it seems the centre-back has been given the all-clear, which is great news.

The 25-year-old hasn’t had the most consistent season, but he put in a strong performance against the Hornets and it would be a shame to see him injured after that. The defender scored a goal and definitely showed Troy Deeney who had the bigger cajones… Although I’m pretty sure I’ve said that word more times in the last week than I previously had during my entire 28 years on this planet.

In even better news, it seems that Nacho Monreal will be back in action. The left-back has been sidelined since the League Cup final against Manchester City last month with back inflammation.

The 32-year-old is a key part of the first team and has scored five goals in 28 appearances so far this term.

Monreal is a fan favourite so it’s a boost that he’s definitely back.
