Lucas Vazquez is reportedly keen on a move away from Real Madrid this summer with the winger allegedly stating ‘I’m going’ recently.

According to Diario Gol, Lucas has announced that he’s leaving Madrid in the summer in search of regular first team football.

The winger allegedly said ‘I’m going’ recently, although to whom he said this, where or when exactly, the Spanish outlet doesn’t clarify. It just says this is the threat on club president Florentino Pérez’s table.

Lucas, whose contract with Los Blancos runs out in June 2021, has been linked with Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs. Not that any of these clubs could actually afford him because his release clause is reportedly a whopping £275m.

While he’s enjoying a good run in the Madrid first team, Lucas knows this is mainly down to injuries to other players and, when Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo are all fit, there’s no way the 26-year-old has any chance of getting into Zinedine Zidane’s starting XI.

You can understand why he would want to leave.

Diario Gol’s report comes a week after they claimed that Lucas allegedly held a ‘secret meeting’ with his agent over a summer move.

This season, Lucas has made 24 La Liga appearances, scored three goals and provided seven assists.
