Arsenal fans have been raving about Mohamed Elneny following his superb performance against Watford.
Elneny had a great match against Watford on Sunday and the defensive midfielder’s efforts have not gone unnoticed by Arsenal fans.
Over the 90 minutes the 25-year-old had 80 touches, made a key pass, seven recoveries and completed 92% of his overall passes.

Although Elneny has never exactly been the most creative of midfielders, the Egypt international has come on leaps and bounds this season.
He’s a solid player, who always does his best and has never complained about being on the bench behind Granit Xhaka when the Switzerland has been out of form.
He also genuinely seems to love Arsenal, which is always a massive bonus.
Arsenal fans have noticed Elneny’s improvement and were full of praise after his performance against Watford.

He should always start. He runs non stop, he attacks, defends, distributes and recovers balls. He always gives 100%

Elneny’s quickly becoming a fan favourite. Not only is he passionate and making efforts to improve, he trolled Alexis Sanchez over Chile’s failure to qualify for the World Cup, had a pretty obvious dig at the forward after he left, and wears his heart on his sleeve.

All fans want is players that care. It doesn’t matter if they’re not scoring a goal a game or making last-ditch tackles every five seconds, as long as they put in a shift when they’re needed, they’re adored, which is exactly what Elneny does.
