Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was in good company on Thursday night as he watched Arsenal beat Milan 3-1 at Ashburton Grove.

Aubameyang hung out with Romeo and Cruz Beckham during the Europa League clash, which saw Arsenal sail through to the quarter-finals, beating Milan 5-1 on aggregate.

Romeo took to Instagram to share his picture with the ‘legend’ while the 28-year-old posted a picture with Romeo, his younger brother Cruz and their friends on his Instagram story.

Not only would it have been a great experience for 15-year-old Romeo since he’s an Arsenal fan, it was probably pretty exciting for Aubameyang to meet the kids of a genuine footballing legend.

All three of David and Victoria Beckham’s sons, including Brooklyn who’s now 19, trained with Arsenal’s academy when they were younger but either failed to earn a scholarship (Brooklyn) or chose to leave and pursue other interests (Romeo and Cruz).

Harper’s only six so there’s still time for her to follow in her father’s footsteps.

David has joked about his disappointment at Romeo for supporting his former rivals Arsenal instead of Manchester United in the past.

“I tried to get Manchester United shirts on them early,” he said back in 2012.

“Two of them are Man United fans and one of them’s an Arsenal fan. I don’t know how it happened.

“Actually, I do know how it happened.

“I took Romeo to an Arsenal game and Arsene Wenger treated him so well – gave him a shirt with his name on the back and his favourite number.

“I had that when I was a kid with Man United.”

Aubameyang has two sons himself but considering he’s played for Saint Etienne, Dortmund and now Arsenal, there’s no telling who they’ll support in the future.
