Arsenal Women’s FA Cup tie against Charlton has been postponed due to ‘weather conditions and safety concerns’.
Arsenal made the announcement on their website this morning, stating that tickets for this fixture will be valid for the rescheduled fixture, although a new date has not been elected at the time of writing.
The forecast for Borehamwood this afternoon sees a sight chance of freezing rain and a temperature stuck at zero for most of the day, but it was snow that fell overnight which has caused the main problems.
Arsenal were heading into this game, which was due to kick-off at 2pm at Meadow Park, filled with confidence after their impressive Conti Cup Final win over Manchester City, but they will now have wait for their cup quarter final.
The final of the FA Cup will be played at Wembley again this season.
The game is scheduled to take place on 5 May, kick off at 5.30 pm due to the usual Saturday TV restrictions.
