Arsenal have been linked with Andrija Zivkovic again after a scout watched Benfica’s victory over Rio Ave.

The Portuguese press insist that Zivkovic is interesting Arsenal.

The latest report was in December, when O Jogo claimed Arsenal had scouts watching the winger in a cup game.

There were also reports during the summer.

Now, they’ve linked us with him again, as Arsenal had a scout watching Benfica’s most recent game against Rio Ave.

The 21-year-old happened to be involved and played well, so O Jogo (via Sport Witness) produced a report claiming we were watching him.

Lists of scouts attending games in Portugal are made public, so we know that Arsenal have been watching Benfica a lot.

However, they could be looking at any of Benfica’s players.

Several great players have come from Portugal, so of course Arsenal will have somebody watching.

As for Zivkovic, he’s played 17 times for Benfica this season.

Normally a left winger, he played in midfield in Benfica’s 5-1 win over Rio Ave. He has one goal in 17 appearances this season with four assists.

Arsenal have been looking at young attackers such a Bordeaux’s Malcom and Boca Juniors’ Cristian Pavon.

Zivkovic fits that profile, but time will tell if we’re seriously interested or not.
