Tyreece John-Jules is set to sign on professional terms with the club, according to reports.

John-Jules has recently turned 17, which means he can now sign a pro contract with the club.

According to Arsenal youth expert Jeorge Bird, the forward will soon become a professional player.

John-Jules is a product of the Hale End academy and has been impressing for the u18s and u23s this season.

Playing either as a centre-forward or on the flank, John-Jules has nine goals in 12 appearances in all competitions.

He’s been especially influential in the FA Youth Cup, where he’s scored in the fourth and fifth rounds.

The 17-year-old is playing well at international level as well, after recently scoring in a 2-0 win over the Netherlands.

It’s been an excellent year so far for Arsenal’s academy teams.

On top of achieving strong results, several players have made their first team debuts.

With the way he’s going, John-Jules may not be too far away from a first team debut, either.

Before then, he’ll be looking for a strong finish to the season, with the Premier League 2 title and FA Youth Cup up for grabs.
