Nacho Monreal and Mesut Ozil are among the 30 best performing Premier League players this season so far.

Sky Sports regularly release their power rankings, which measures player performance using numerous stats and then assigns them an overall score.

They published a list of the Premier League’s best 30 players this season so far according to that score.

Only two Arsenal players managed to make the list, suggesting that several of our players have under-performed this season.

The highest ranked of the two was Nacho Monreal in 22nd place.

Monreal has been in excellent form as of late, scoring two and assisting two in his last four appearances.

Below him in 28th is Mesut Ozil.

Only four players have more assists than Ozil this season, but that fact isn’t enough to earn him a higher ranking.

Unsurprisingly, the rankings are dominated by players from Manchester City.

Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, Chelsea’s Eden Hazard, Leicester’s Riyad Mahrez and Manchester United’s David De Gea also make the top 10.

Watford’s Abdoulaye Decoure and Richarlison, Stoke’s Xherdan Shaqiri and Burnley’s Nick Pope are the only other representatives of clubs outside of the current top six.
