Several Premier League clubs want to sign Paulo Dybala, including Arsenal, but Jose Mourinho and Manchester United are not an option for the Argentinian.

Friday’s edition of Mundo Deportivo writes that Manchester City and Arsenal both have interest in the striker.

In Spain, both Barcelona and Real Madrid could make a move. Mourinho, on the other hand, has been “erased” from the list of candidates to sign the 24-year-old.

Dybala is having a fantastic season with Juventus, with 17 goals and five assists in 28 appearances.

He hasn’t scored a goal so far in 2018 though, thanks largely to a hamstring injury.

You can certainly see why the top clubs in Europe want such a talented young striker.

Realistically though, I can’t see Arsenal as genuine contenders. The Gunners have already broken their record transfer fee on a striker twice in the last two windows. They’d have to break it again to sign Dybala, as transfermarkt.co.uk value him at around £76.5m.

The only argument you could make for signing the striker is that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is 28. He probably won’t be a world class centre-forward for more than a few years, and Dybala could be a good investment for the future.

That would be a really expensive way to plan ahead though, so it still doesn’t seem very likely. Especially with Real Madrid for competition, a rich club that actually needs a striker.
