Comedian and well-known Arsenal fan Jack Whitehall couldn’t help but get in a dig at Spurs while presenting the Brit awards on Wednesday night.

Spurs striker Harry Kane was introduced to the stage alongside former member of girl group Filth Harmony, Camilla Cabello, during the prestigious award ceremony.

The pair were presenting an award together and, while Cabello probably had no clue who Kane was, Whitehall definitely did.

The Arsenal fan couldn’t help but take the opportunity to have a dig at the Spurs star, who’s netted 23 goals in 26 Premier League appearances this season.

“Our next presenters are a pop superstar and a Tottenham striker, meaning the BRIT award he presents tonight will be the only trophy he gets his hands on this season,” Whitehall said.

“It’s Harry Kane and Camilla Cabello.”

The comedian, who’s the son of producer and author Michael Whitehall, has a point – Spurs haven’t won a trophy since the League Cup in 2008.

Whitehall’s fellow Arsenal fans were of course in stitches after the 29-year-old’s very public dig at Kane during the live award ceremony. Most of us would like to think we would have done the same in his position.

Meanwhile, the England international just stood there staring into the distance awkwardly, unsure how to react, which made the jibe even more amusing.

Whitehall also had digs at Piers Morgan and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who was in attendance with his girlfriend, Perrie Edwards of Little Mix, to complete his hat-trick.

This isn’t the first time Whitehall’s used his platform as a comedian to have a dig at those who have wronged Arsenal in the past.

Needless to say, Gooners are loving it.
