Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has said there’s more to come from him after scoring on his debut for the club.

Aubameyang has been at the club for less than a week, but has already made an impact.

His cute finish over Jordan Pickford gave Arsenal a 4-0 first-half lead against Everton and opened his account for the club.

Before then, he had played a big part in our opening goal by laying the ball off for Henrikh Mkhitaryan to cross to Aaron Ramsey.

Speaking to Arsenal.com after the game, Aubameyang said: “Of course I was really happy.

“We won the game in the first half and the second was a bit different. We are all happy today.

“Is there more to come from me? I think so!”

There’s plenty of expectation on Aubameyang to hit the ground running and bang in the goals, as he did for Borussia Dortmund.

If he’s feeling that expectation at all, he didn’t show it.

He, along with fellow new boy Henrikh Mkhitaryan, both looked as if they had been playing for Arsenal for a long time.

The way they combined for Aubameyang’s goal was also very encouraging and rightly has Arsenal fans incredibly excited.

A debut goal is the perfect way for any striker to kick-off their time at a new club.

The 28-year-old will be an instant hero should he score against Tottenham in next week’s North London derby, if he isn’t already.
