Oops! February caught me off guard and the monthly wallpaper is only arriving after we’ve already played one match!

To make up for that I chose this fantastic photo from the match against Everton as the backdrop for all the other matches we have in this short month.

As we all know, it started pretty well, with a wonderful home win against Everton and great home debuts for our new signings, Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan.

I hope this will continue in their debut at our second home next week.

Yes, for the second match in February we’re off to Wembley, to play our dear neighbours Spurs.

We did really well against them in first derby this season so I’m hoping we can repeat that on 10th. Why not? Everything is going well, the new lads look awesome, and Mesut is a Gunner for three more years. I’m not even worried about our horrible away record as it’s Wembley.

What could possibly go wrong?

After the NLD, there’s a little break in the league with two Europa League matches. We’re off to cold and snowy Sweden to play the small but tough Ostersund FK the day after Valentine’s Day, and then we have the return leg at home on 22nd.

It would be silly to expect anything other than two wins here but let’s not forget we are the Arsenal. I expect a mixed team in both matches, with Lacazette starting (I hope!).

The month will end on a high, with yet another trip to Wembley but this time for yet another cup final.

We’re facing the league winners-elect Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final for the first trophy of the season.

Anything can happen but we have nothing to lose and could surprise the footballing world if everything clicks. I am looking forward to it. Who doesn’t love cup finals?

Hopefully February will be great for us.

We can get back into the fight for the Top 4 trophy, proceed in the Europa League to get Borussia Dortmund, and win a trophy at the end!

Much better than recent Februarys, if you ask me.
