It wasn’t the best performance but Arsenal’s 0-0 League Cup draw at Stamford Bridge could have gone a lot worse.

Here’s how they all got on individually:

Midfield

Hector Bellerin – 6

Not the wing-back’s worst game for Arsenal. He attempted to drive play forward in the first half but his final ball, as usual, was lacking.

He completed 91% of his passes.

Jack Wilshere – 7

Captain Jack was once again one of Arsenal’s best players. He put in a lovely pass to Lacazette in the first half, which the striker should have buried.

He also completed an impressive 93% of his passes and two dribbles.

The 25-year-old had to be taken off in the second half after suffering a knock to his ankle. Hopefully he’s okay.

Granit Xhaka – 6

For some reason, the midfielder was put on corners and was really poor at it.

As usual, the 25-year-old tended to dawdle on the ball and lacked the quality to really drive us forward. However, he wasn’t terrible.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles – 6.5

The 20-year-old wasn’t as sharp as he has been for Arsenal recently. He allowed Victor Moses to run past him past too easily once or twice. Perhaps the occasion got to him or maybe he’s just knackered after being played so often.

Still, he was one of our stronger players despite only completing 75% of his passes.

Next up, forwards
