French agent Bruno Satin feels Arsenal and Valencia will be outbid by other European clubs for Goncalo Guedes.

Guedes is enjoying a productive loan spell with Valencia, who would love to make the winger’s stay a permanent one. Unfortunately for them, Guedes’ fine form has drawn interest from other European outfits.

His parent club Paris Saint-Germain see an opportunity to increase their asking price. That’s the view of French agent Bruno Satin, who told Le Parisien: “Today, Guedes is in the right place. In Valencia, he landed in a club where the competition was less strong than PSG and he arrived without concerns and with his qualities.

“In Paris, he was seen as a player for the future. Finally, alone, it will allow Paris to plug some of its financial hole. If we bring back a possible transfer estimated at €60m to the statistics of Guedes, it’s expensive.

“However, the age of the player suggests that he will continue to grow and, from this point of view, it could interest a European top club. Customers will surely be ready to put more than Valencia. And PSG can then hope to get more than €30m.”

Arsenal were linked with Guedes themselves earlier in the week. The 21-year-old is a very promising talent and would make an exciting addition to the Arsenal squad. The Gunners would also have the financial capability to do a deal, even with the price going up.

With him on loan for the season, though, Arsenal would have to wait until the summer to do a deal, at which point, several other clubs would be interested in signing him. The need to replace Alexis Sanchez is a lot more pressing than that.

Guedes signed for PSG last January but struggled for game time, hence his season-long loan to Valencia this season.
