Arsenal u16s were involved in a crazy draw against Aston Villa, while the u18s saw off their u18s in less spectacular fashion.

It seems that Arsenal’s identity runs deep.

The Arsenal u16 side played with all the attacking verve of the first team as they found themselves 4-1 up against Aston Villa.

However, a tiny lapse in concentration saw them 6-4 down.

Quite how the Arsenal defence managed to ship five consecutive goals is beyond me, but at least it provided the opportunity for some late heroics.

Two late goals from Arsenal drew the score level at 6-6.

Clearly, the kids have been watching a bit too much of the first team as of late.

Else where, the u18 age group defeated Villa without collapsing.

Two penalties from Trae Coyle were enough to see Villa off and hand the u18s their fourth straight win in the u18 Premier League.

They remain second in the table, but are having a good go at catching Chelsea at the top.
