It must be Arsenal, Manchester City and Juventus’ lucky day because Genoa have reportedly lowered their asking price for Pietro Pellegri from €45m to €25m.

Arsenal are said to be interested in Pellegri despite the 16-year-old only making six appearances for Genoa this term.

We have been reported to be keen before, but the links dried up after it was claimed he would set the Gunners back €45m.

Now, Juventus have allegedly reignited their interest in the striker and Genoa have decided to lower their asking price.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Serie A club are willing to start negotiations for the teenager from €25m and go from there. How generous…

Pellegri is a product of the Italian side’s youth academy and made his debut for them at 15.

While he’s only getting a handful of appearances right now, he’s still a kid. I doubt he would leave a club where he gets playing time for the first-team to play for another club’s youth side.

This season, Pellegri has scored twice. His contract only has another 18 months on it, but if Genoa are slapping a such a huge price tag on him, they obviously want him to stay.

I would be surprised if he moved.
