Arsenal’s draw against Chelsea in mid-week means they remain the best club when it comes to London derbies.

According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal have accumulated 425 points from 235 derbies during the Premier League era.

Had Chelsea come away with the three points on Wednesday, they would’ve gone above Arsenal.

However, given that only three London teams have managed over 200 games in the Premier League, this record is hardly worth talking about.

It’s essentially saying that Arsenal have a good record historically against Tottenham and Chelsea, which is true.

Chelsea caught up after 2005, while Spurs have seen more ‘success’ in the last three years – they did, after all, ‘apply pressure’ last season.

The Mail go on to reveal that Arsenal have the best all-time Premier League record amongst London teams.

Arsenal have collected 1861 points from 984 games. Chelsea are second with 1835 points from the same amount of games.

Unfortunately, both Chelsea and Tottenham are above Arsenal in the current Premier League and Arsenal will not get a trophy for their all-time record, as much as people will joke about wanting one.
