Arsenal players finally are returning to the fold and it looks as if we’ll have a slightly stronger starting XI for the Gunners’ clash at home to Crystal Palace.

Arsenal now only have Olivier Giroud (hamstring) and Santi Cazorla (Achilles) out with the big striker set to return to action at the end of the month. Provided that we don’t sell him, that is.

Nacho Monreal (ankle) and Laurent Koscielny (Achilles) have both returned to training and I expect them both to step into Arsene Wenger’s starting XI against the Eagles on Saturday afternoon.

Although our defence hasn’t been brilliant this season, it’s still slightly better with them on the pitch.

Although Aaron Ramsey is fit, I think Wenger will probably start him in the bench and opt for Jack Wilshere and Granit Xhaka in midfield just in case.

Sead Kolasinac is also set to return but Ainsley Maitland-Niles will probably start as he’s been the stronger of the two. The 20-year-old has been suffering from the ‘flu this week but was in full training on Friday.

Obviously, Alexis Sanchez won’t be in the squad as he nears his move to Manchester United but Mesut Ozil, according to Wenger, should be available.

Both players trained ahead of the Palace clash.

I imagine Danny Welbeck will get the nod in the Chilean’s place.

Predicted line-up: Cech, Monreal, Koscielny, Mustafi, Bellerin, Wilshere, Xhaka, Maitland-Niles, Ozil, Welbeck, Lacazette.
