Perhaps unsurprisingly, research shows that Arsenal earn more money per fan than any other club in the world, and also charge the most for tickets.

According to UEFA’s European Club Footballing Landscape report, Arsenal generated more money in gate receipts than any other club in the world last season – £102m.

The Gunners also made a shocking £74.09 per person. This is more than Chelsea (£68.71), Real Madrid (£55.91), Liverpool (£55.68), Bayern Munich (£54.92) and even Manchester United (£53.41).

The amounts per person include not just gate receipts but tickets, membership fees, premium ticketing and hospitality income.

The findings confirm that Arsenal’s tickets are the most expensive in the world as well, which is a bit rich (no pun intended) considering they’re struggling to get European football this term and losing all their best players.

Although, looking at the clubs below us, it’s not as if Arsenal are charging much more. Liverpool have never won the Premier League and they’re still asking for almost £56 per supporter.

Other interesting stats prove what a money-making machine the Premier League is in general. For example, Bournemouth earn more in TV revenue than Inter Milan.

Unsurprisingly, United are Europe’s biggest earners but also have the highest debt – €561m.
