1Stelian Farcău joined the club

Arsenal have hired Farcău as a new scout for Southeastern Europe, according to an announcement on his Facebook page. He will take responsibility for scouting in Southeastern Europe and has become the sixth backroom change since Ivan set off his catalyst.

2Arsenal’s chief commercial officer joined British Olympic Association

Arsenal’s chief commercial officer Vinai Venkatesham has joined the British Olympic Association as an independent non-executive director.

He was previously a part of the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2012 and was a non-executive director at the London 2017 World Athletics and World Para Athletics Championships

3Jordi Osei-Tutu scored again

Osei-Tutu is a right-back playing for the u23s who recently signed a new contract with Arsenal.

This weekend he scored his second goal in two games since the announcement, as the Gunners drew a dramatic match against Derby.

4Krystian Bielik and Jeff Reine-Adelaide got injured

In the same match against Derby for the u23s, Krystian Bielik and Jeff Reine-Adelaide had to be substituted early.

Both had just recently returned from long-term injuries, and it now looks like they could be set for another spell on the sidelines.

5Kim Källström retired

Three years after his loan spell with the Gunners, Kim Källström has announced his retirement from professional football.

The midfielder said he was happy to end his career back with Djurgårdens IF, a team he scored 26 goals in 48 games for earlier in his career, and he just didn’t have the energy or power to play a full season anymore.

I think most of us will remember the 35-year-old for the back injury that prevented him from playing for half of his loan spell, and, of course, his penalty in the FA Cup semi-final shoot out.

6Arsenal Women reached Conti Cup semi-finals

Beth Mead scored against her former club, Sunderland, as the Arsenal Women won their first match under new manager Joe Montemurro.

The Gunners ran out 3-1 winners in their quarter-final tie in the FA WSL Conti Cup on Sunday.

They’ll face one of Chelsea, Manchester City or Reading in the semi-final.
