Manchester United have joined Arsenal and Chelsea in the race for highly-rated Bordeaux winger Malcom.

United manager Jose Mourinho is considering making a move for the Brazilian after he sent scouts to watch him last season. The Daily Mail claim that United want to sign him in the January transfer window, and believe he would be worth around £30m.

Arsenal and Chelsea are also believed to be interested in the 20-year-old, who has been in impressive form for Bodeaux since joining them in 2016.

The former Corinthians youngster has seven goals and five assists in 19 appearances in all competitions this season.

United appear to be watching him the closest, but do already possess two exciting young forwards in Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial.

Arsenal, on the other hand, may need to replace Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil should the two decide to leave when their contracts expire in the summer.

Malcom appears to be an exciting talent but, at 20, still has plenty to learn. Arsenal also have their own exciting young attackers, such as Reiss Nelson, who will need game time in the first team to develop.

Arsene Wenger might opt for a more experienced replacement for Alexis and Ozil, rather than sign a younger option in this instance, given the Gunners have a lot of promising talent in the squad.
