PSV Eindhoven’s Hirving Lozano says he loves La Liga, and would happily move to Barcelona.

Lozano was linked with Arsenal after making a very strong start to life in Europe. Hirving moved from Pachuca in Mexico to PSV this summer, and has hardly stopped scoring since.

As a result, plenty of clubs are starting to take notice, and Lozano told Radio Marca where he’d like to go next, saying: “I have always said that I loved the Premier, but I also like the Spanish La Liga.”

On who he’d like to play with someday, Hirving responded: “With (Lionel) Messi, he is a great player. For me he is a phenomenon. Hopefully (Barcelona will make an offer), God willing, we will see.”

Lozano has 10 goals and three assists in 12 Eredivisie appearances this season so far, as well as winning two penalties. Playing as a winger, it’s impressive that he’s managed to make his way to first place in the league’s top scorers.

The 22-year-old has also been impressive for his national side. Since the start of the season, he’s made five appearances for Mexico, and scored four goals.

According to the rumours, Arsenal would have to pay £30m to activate Lozano’s release clause.

If the Mexican is showing signs that his skills are transferable to the Premier League, which is up to the Gunners’ scouting team to decide, then he may well be worth the money.
