Cohen Bramall finally made his return to the Birmingham City team this weekend, and drew plenty of praise for his performance.

Bramall started Birmingham’s 1-0 defeat to Fulham, and played in his favoured left wing-back position. He played 89 minutes of the match before being substituted.

The 21-year-old last played before the summer transfer window was even closed, all the way back in August, so it was great to see him given another chance.

He tweeted out his thanks to the fans and revealed how difficult things had been for him in the last few months:

The Birmingham fans seemed happy to have him back, even despite the obvious disappointment with the loss:

Lucas Perez started and completed his match with Deportivo La Coruna, as they beat Leganes 1-0. Kelechi Nwakali started for VVV-Venlo as they drew 2-2 with Heerenveen, but he was substituted in the 67th minute before they scored their late equaliser.

Takuma Asano came on late for Stuttgart, but by that stage they were already 2-0 down to Bayer Leverkusen.

Meanwhile, Carl Jenkinson and Joel Campbell both continue to miss out with injury. Emi Martinez, Stephy Mavididi and Marc Bola are all fit and made the squad for Getafe, Preston North End and Bristol Rovers respectively, but none of the trio made it onto the pitch.
