Eddie! Eddie! Eddie!

There wasn’t a Gooner alive who didn’t feel excited after Eddie Nketiah came on in the cup match and scored his first senior goal after just 15 seconds!

It reminded us that that’s what the League Cup was really for – giving youngsters a chance.

But, more importantly, it left us all wondering is he the next big thing?

Obviously, Gooners love to overreact and make mountains out of molehills in every way possible, but Eddie just might be worth the excitement.

We pinched him from Chelsea a few years ago, where he was deemed “too short” to be a striker. Others who knew him and watched him play were baffled with that decision, so Arsenal did really well to seal that deal.

Eddie has been playing for the youth teams and in the cup and Europa League for the senior team this season. He’s only 18, so it might be just a bit too much to expect fireworks in every appearance he makes but his future looks bright.

Arsenal know that so they offered him a new contract which Eddie happily signed just this week. Clearly, he’s already smarter than a few senior players on that front.

Anyway, as always, I love making wallpapers for our youngsters and not-so-popular players, so here it is – Eddie Nketiah, the new Gooner favourite.

Hope you like it!
