Manchester City could make a January bid for Alexis Sanchez after learning of interest from two unnamed clubs according to reports.

The league-leaders would apparently prefer to sign Alexis in the summer when his contract expires, but could attempt to sign him in January.

That’s according to Manchester Evening News, who report that two other clubs have made it clear to Arsenal that they’d be willing to buy him in January.

The clubs weren’t named. If I were to guess, one of them is likely to be Paris St. Germain.

After City, PSG have been the most frequently linked with Alexis, while there have been reports of them rekindling their interest in January.

The other club, though, could be any one of the several who have been linked since the summer.

Despite this interest, City remain totally convinced that Alexis wants a reunion with Pep Guardiola.

City came close to signing Alexis in the summer, but Arsenal cancelled the deal at the last minute due to not being able to find a replacement.

Alexis has now returned to the Arsenal starting line-up and is beginning to find some form after a rocky start.

It’d be a shame to sell him in January just when he’s starting to produce again.
