The colours of the new Arsenal 2018/19 away kit have reportedly been leaked, eight months ahead of the planned launch date next July.

According to footyheadlines.com, Arsenal will wear a dark navy away shirt with bright red on the logos and Emirates writing. The badge could reportedly also be the same colour as it is in this year’s black and pink kit.

However, the design on the footyheadlines website uses the standard badge, as seen below:

It’s a nice colour scheme and one I wouldn’t mind seeing on an away kit, but at this stage I think it’s too early to get excited.

For a start, this seems more like a concept kit than a finished product, and a lot could change in the next eight months.

Not least, Arsenal might not even be with Puma anymore.

There are rumours on the same website that the Gunners could buy themselves out of their current deal in 2018 and switch to Adidas, who would reportedly pay a minimum of £80m per year. The Adidas rumour is one that has been around for at least a year now and PUMA did not respond when we contacted them to ask if there was any truth to them.

Without any certainty over who Arsenal’s kit manufacturer will be next year, I think it’s best to take any potential kit leaks with a shovel of salt, for now.
