Manchester United have a few injury concerns to deal with ahead of the match against Arsenal on Saturday.

The Gunners picked up an injury of their own on Wednesday, with Alexandre Lacazette ruled out of the weekend action, but the visitors have similar concerns, particularly in midfield. Nemanja Matic, Marouane Fellaini and Michael Carrick could all miss out, according to the United club website.

The Red Devils still have plenty of options in the middle of the park, with Paul Pogba now back in the side, and Juan Mata, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Ander Herrera all capable of playing in the centre.

There are also a couple of absentees at the back, with Phil Jones and Eric Bailly expected to miss out. Again, this shouldn’t be a major issue, with Chris Smalling, Victor Lindelöf, Daley Blind and Marcos Rojo all available.

Rojo, Lindelöf and Smalling started together as a back-three against Watford in mid-week, and although the team did concede two goals, Lindelöf in particular earned a lot of praise for his performance, from United supporters.

David De Gea is available to play in goal, Ashley Young and Antonio Valencia will likely start in the wing-back positions, Anthony Martial is fit and in-form in the front three, and Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford will also be available, along with Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Jesse Lingard also scored after starting in the front-three against Watford, so he could retain his spot. But we’ll have to wait for the team announcement at 4:30pm on Saturday to find out which three make the cut.
