Dani Ceballos is allegedly looking to leave Real Madrid after only joining them four months ago and Arsenal are one of the teams being linked.

The Gunners were reportedly interested in signing Ceballos during the summer when he was still at Real Betis. However, the 21-year-old chose to sign for Real Madrid instead and, according to Don Balon, is already looking to move.

So far, the midfielder has only made two La Liga starts for Los Blancos and five appearances in total, which is why the Spain u21 international is said to be unhappy with his new side.

Ceballos started 24 times for Betis last term and made a total of 30 appearances. He was a first team regular and given far more opportunities than he is now. So, you can understand why this probably isn’t the start to his Real Madrid career he was hoping for.

However, Real signed Ceballos on a six-year deal for €18m back in July, which means his contract with them doesn’t run out until June 2023. Would the La Liga giants really allow a new player to walk out the door so soon?

What’s more, would they tie him down to a six-year deal if they had no intention of playing him in the future? He is only 21, after all.

Don Balon believe they could and even reckon that Juventus have already put in an offer. Although other Serie A clubs are also said to be interested.

While Arsenal do need to strengthen their midfield, I doubt he’ll leave Real just yet.
