This is when Arsenal’s ’89’ film will be released and where you can watch it

With the Arsenal ’89’ movie set to be released to the public this weekend, we look at everything you need to know.

’89’, a film which tells the story of that Arsenal win over Liverpool during the final day of the 1988/89 season, is set to be released to the public on Saturday 11 November. However, at the time of writing, most of the initial screenings have sold out.

The movie is based around Arsenal’s first title win since 1971 when they traveled to Anfield on the final day of the season.

Led by George Graham, the Gunners had to win by at least two goals if they were going to clinch it. And they did.

The day has gone down in Arsenal history.

The film, or sports documentary, stars Lee Dixon, Michael Thomas, Tony Adams, Alan Smith, George Graham, Nigel Winterburn, Amy Lawrence, Nick Hornby, Alan Davies, and has been directed by David Stewart.
