Jeff Reine-Adelaide is back in training after his recent injury.

The 19-year-old has been out for almost a month due to an injury he picked up playing for the u23s last month.

It’s been a frustrating season for the midfielder, as fitness issues have prevented him playing at any level consistently.

However, according to Arsenal Youth, he’s back training with the first team and could be in contention for Arsenal’s next cup game.

Reine-Adelaide missed his chance to stake a claim for a first team spot in pre-season due to an ankle injury.

He would have certainly also featured in Arsenal’s Europa League and Carabao Cup games had he been fit.

His absence has given opportunities to the likes of Reiss Nelson and Joe Willock.

Nelson trained with the first team ahead of Arsenal’s game against Burnley in the Premier League, though will likely miss out on the matchday squad.

Calum Chambers and Mathieu Debuchy are also set to miss out as they work their way back up to full fitness.

Meanwhile, Theo Walcott remains absent due to an illness he picked up before the 2-0 win over Tottenham last week.

Arsenal’s next cup fixture is against BATE Borisov on December 7th, when many of these players are expected to return.
