Joe Willock, Reiss Nelson and Eddie Nketiah have all been given England u19 call-ups.

Willock, Nelson and Nketiah have been called up for England u19s’ Euro qualifiers against Iceland, Faroe Islands and Bulgaria set to take place on 8, 11 and 14 of November.

Willock has represented his country twice, as have 17-year-old Nelson, who’s also scored once, and Nketiah, who’s netted three for the Young Lions’ u19 side.

While the trio are yet to really break into Arsenal’s first team, they’ve all been getting more game time and impressing.

Willock and Nelson made nine appearances between them this season and Eddie became a hero when he saved the Gunners’ skin against Norwich in the Carabao Cup.

The 18-year-old came on with minutes of regular time to go and scored with his first touch of the game, forcing the tie to extra time, where he netted a second early on to secure Arsenal’s progression to the fifth round.

It’s good to see that all three are being rewarded for their hard work at Arsenal with call-ups. Especially seeing as these matches aren’t just friendlies, they’re Euro qualifiers.

Hopefully, all three get a chance to impress for their country as much as they have been for Arsene Wenger’s side.
