Late decisions will be made on the inclusion of Shkodran Mustafi, Alex Iwobi and Danny Welbeck.

Arsene Wenger has said Mustafi, Iwobi and Welbeck are doubts Saturday’s meeting with Tottenham, and he plans to make a final check on Friday.

Mustafi has been out since October after pulling his hamstring while playing for Germany against Azerbaijan.

Welbeck has been absent since the 2-1 defeat to Watford, where he also damaged a muscle. It was his first start since returning from a groin injury he picked up in the 0-0 draw against Chelsea.

The two were expected to be fit in time for the North London derby on Saturday. Wenger has also said he’ll look at Alex Iwobi’s fitness on Friday as well.

Iwobi had a busy international break with Nigeria. He played and scored twice in a 4-2 victory over Argentina. It’s likely that all three will at least be on the bench for Saturday’s game.

Welbeck and Iwobi have been Wenger’s go-to options for the big games this season. Both featured away to Chelsea, while Welbeck started at Anfield and Iwobi started at the Etihad Stadium.

It’ll be interesting to see if Wenger includes them from the start again against Tottenham.
