Several Arsenal players will be in action during the international break.

Club football takes a break after this weekend’s round of fixtures for the year’s final set of international matches.

Granit Xhaka will feature for Switzerland for their World Cup play-off against Northern Ireland. The first leg will be played in Northern Ireland on the 9th November, while the return leg will be played three days later on November 12th.

Mohamed Elneny and Alex Iwobi have been called up for Egypt and Nigeria respectively to play their final qualifiers against Ghana (November 12th) and Algeria (November 10th). Both Egypt and Nigeria have already qualified for the World Cup. Nigeria will then play a friendly against Argentina on November 14th.

Laurent Koscielny, Alexandre Lacazette and Olivier Giroud have been called up for France for their friendlies against Wales (November 10th) and Germany (November 14th).

Aaron Ramsey will represent Wales in that game against France, as well as against Panama on November 14th.

Mesut Ozil has been called up for Germany for a friendly against Engand on November 10th. He will also play against France.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles is a part of the England u21 squad who will play Ukraine in a European qualifier on November 10th.
