Shkodran Mustafi is set to miss out on Sunday’s trip to Manchester City, according to reports.

Mustafi hasn’t played for the Gunners for a month now, with his last appearance coming against Brighton on October 1st. Arsène Wenger said that Shkodran’s issue was worse than Ospina’s, who is still not back, so that made it unlikely the defender would play any part at the weekend anyway.

However, after rumours that the German could be ahead of schedule, the Evening Standard are now reporting that the weekend match will come too soon.

Arsenal therefore have to play two games in four days with a limited number of centre-backs.

Laurent Koscielny is available and should play on Sunday, with Per Mertesacker and Nacho Monreal being the most likely two to join him, as long as Kolašinac is fit to play on the left. He missed training on Wednesday but is expected to be back in the squad for the game at the Etihad.

Mathieu Debuchy is back in the fold, so he’ll probably get a start against Red Star Belgrade, and Rob Holding should be alongside him.

Other than that, we’ll have to wait and see.

Chambers could possibly be available, in which case I’m sure he’d start, but if he isn’t then it may be another opportunity at the back for Elneny.

After the goal conceded against Norwich, I don’t think the fans are particularly keen on seeing that same back-three again, so hopefully Chambers recovers in time.
