German newspaper Bild have incredibly suggesting that Bayern Munich sign Danny Welbeck or Alexandre Lacazette.

Bayern Munich are currently relying on Robert Lewandowski for goals as the 29-year-old is the Bundesliga side’s only out-and-out striker and, to be fair, he’s not doing a bad job. He’s netted 14 goals in 16 games this season.

However, Bild reckon Bayern are playing a risky game and should add some fire-power to the starting line-up. The German newspaper reckons they should sign either Welbz or Laca just in case.

Welbeck is currently out until after the international break with a groin injury after scoring three goals in six appearances.

The 26-year-old is a bit of a fan favourite and a decent squad player. However, he has under two years left on his current deal with Arsenal and there’s been no proper talk of an extension yet.

Meanwhile, the Gunners only signed Lacazette from Lyon this summer for a club record fee of £52m. The France international has netted five goals in 10 Premier League appearances. Therefore, I’d hazard a guess at Arsenal being reluctant to allow him to just skip off to Bayern.

The German side will know this so I doubt they’re going to take Bild’s advice.
