Four Arsenal stars featured in France’s international friendly win over Wales at Stade de France on Friday evening.

Olivier Giroud found the back of the net against Aaron Ramsey’s Wales on Friday, helping Les Bleus to a 2-0 victory, while Alexandre Lacazette and Laurent Koscielny also featured.

Giroud scored his 29th goal for France in the 71st minute after Antoine Griezmann volleyed home the first early on in the game.

The 31-year-old’s smart little chip past Wayne Hennessey was his third for France this season – sixth overall since the big guy has been struggling for game time with Arsenal.

In fact, he’s yet to make a single Premier League start this term.

France were dominant throughout, enjoying 63% of the possession and having 19 shots (four on target) to Wales’ six (two on target).

Rambo played another full 90 minutes for the Red Dragons – his 52nd cap – and played as second striker since his side were once again without Gareth Bale.

Lacazette racked up another 17 minutes for France. The 26-year-old will probably just be glad to be getting game time since he’d only featured 11 times for Didier Deschamps’ side before he joined Arsenal.

Meanwhile, Laurent Koscielny, who announced this week that he will retire from international football after next year’s World Cup, also played a full 90.

Alex Iwobi also played 81 minutes for Nigeria against Algeria during their final World Cup qualifier. The match ended 1-1.
