Cohen Bramall is having a nightmare spell on loan with Birmingham City, as he struggles to find a way into the team.

After appearing once for the Arsenal u23s at the start of the new campaign, Bramall secured a temporary move to Birmingham City, to play under Harry Redknapp.

He was straight into the action in the EFL Cup, playing on the left against Bournemouth, and despite the narrow 2-1 loss, the 22-year-old started again that weekend against Reading.

Bramall was then left out for a couple of games but made the bench for the match against Preston North End in mid-September. Unfortunately, that’s where it all went wrong.

Birmingham lost 3-1, manager Harry Redknapp was sacked, and the left-back found himself playing for a manager that didn’t sign him.

Since then, the Blues have played eight matches and Bramall hasn’t been involved in a single one, even on the bench.

His loan club have dropped all the way down the table into the relegation zone, but still he isn’t being given a chance. Birmingham haven’t even scored a goal in four matches.

It seems there’s nothing Cohen can do to get back involved, and at this rate it’s looking like a key year in his development is being wasted. Hopefully that changes soon.
