Arsenal’s u18s ran riot on Saturday, outclassing their North London rivals in a rampant 6-0 win.

It took a while for Arsenal to make the breakthrough, with Bukayo Saka giving the Gunners the lead just before the half-hour mark, but after that the floodgates opened.

Trae Coyle scored a few minutes later, his second in two games since returning from injury.

Then 16-year-old Xavier Amaechi added another, assisted by attacking midfielder Robbie Burton. Saka was on the scoresheet again not long after that, this time assisted by Daley-Campbell.

The Gunners were running riot against their North London rivals, and were 4-0 up before the teams had even reached half-time.

Although the Gunners didn’t come out in the second-half quite as strongly as they’d ended the first, they didn’t take too long to add another, with Matt Smith scoring their fifth as the match approached the 60 minute mark.

Spurs made three changes, even bringing on Mauricio Pochettino’s son, Maurizio, but it didn’t make any difference as Amaechi became the second player to score a brace, assisted by Benson, for the sixth of the game.

Arsenal made a couple of changes of their own, with the result very much wrapped up, bringing on Spencer-Adams, Clarke and Jay Beckford (returning from injury) for Omole, Burton and Saka.

Finally the goals dried up, and the Gunners finished the match 6-0 winners. A completely dominant performance against their local rivals.
