Arsenal are among several clubs watching MK Dons teenager Dylan Asonganyi.

The 16-year-old has been in brilliant form at youth level for MK Dons, who are said to be bracing themselves for bids from the Premier League.

According to the Mirror, Arsenal are one of the clubs who have sent scouts to watch the striker in action. They’ve apparently been joined by Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Tottenham and Leicester.

Asonganyi has scored 20 goals in 17 games for the MK Dons’ u23 and u18 sides.

His most recent goalscoring exploits came against Barnet in the FA Youth Cup, where he scored a brace in front of the watching scouts.

MK Dons could be considering giving him a chance in the first team in an attempt to ward off interest. His only first team involvement so far has been as an unused substitute during a Carabao Cup match against Stevenage.

The last big talent to come from the MK Dons’ academy was, of course, Dele Alli.

The midfielder made his name in League One before he was signed by Tottenham for £5m in 2015.

Arsenal have their own exciting young striker in Eddie Nketiah, but may continue to monitor Asonganyi if he continues to be prolific.
