Aaron Ramsey has risen to fourth in the Premier League Power Rankings, emphasising his good form at the moment.

The Power Rankings are a system devised by Sky Sports to evaluate players.

Players are awarded points based on their performance in 32 different stats, and then ranked based on who has the highest points score over their last five matches.

Ramsey has managed to make it up to fourth, after another goal at the weekend against Swansea. That goal was his second in two games, and he also provided an assist in those two matches, so those games have driven him up the rankings quite a bit.

Nacho Monreal also makes the top 10, with Alexis Sanchez dropping down to 11th, and Mesut Özil gaining on him in 13th.

Sead Kolasinac is also up at 15th, and those five are the only Arsenal players currently in the top 50.

Sky Sports also have a cumulative ranking for the entire season so far.

Obviously players like Özil and Alexis are disadvantaged in this regard, as they haven’t always played.

However, Nacho Monreal is 15th on the list, with Aaron Ramsey (25th), Alexandre Lacazette (28th) and Sead Kolašinac (33rd) also making the top-50.

Hopefully, more players will climb the rankings as the season goes on, but it’s good to see the stats support that those listed above are doing well objectively, so we know it’s not just our Arsenal bias.
