The prolific Frenchman who divides opinion more than Wenger does, Olivier Giroud hit 100 goals for Arsenal, and I’ve made some wallpapers and covers to celebrate the milestone.

Olivier Giroud was one of those typical Wenger signings – French, cheap and not too well known to people who didn’t pay much attention to Ligue 1 back in 2012.

He was signed for now funny £12m. There were times when we all thought he’s not worth even half of that figure, but he’d win our love back pretty soon.

As mentioned, Giroud definitely divides opinions: is he a world class striker or an expensive kit model? Well, there’s one thing no one can deny – he is one of only 19 Arsenal players in history to score 100 goals for this club. You have to stop and applaud the man.

I myself never really had a problem with him. He can be frustrating, but who isn’t while wearing the Arsenal kit? I think he might just be Europe’s best backup striker.

As of the last few seasons, he has become the definition of a super sub and we have greatly benefitted having him come off the bench in games. I am really happy he decided to stay at the club and hope he will score even more goals for us.

Here’s a wallpaper as congratulations on achieving this massive milestone – in one match less than Judas, even! And also a late birthday present. Hope you like it!
