In total, twelve Arsenal first-team players have been called up to represent their countries over the international break.

We put together a breakdown of exactly who is playing, and when, in a previous article, but since then there have been a few changes and updates, reports Arsenal.com.

For a start, Laurent Koscielny has been pulled out of the France squad. Initially he was set to join up with the team, but after injury left him on the sidelines for the match against Brighton, it seems he hasn’t recovered in time to make the trip abroad – Adil Rami has replaced him.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles has been called up for the England u20s. They’ll play against Scotland on Friday, October 6 and Andorra on Tuesday, October 10 in the u20s’ European Championship qualifiers.

Although, it’s not yet the first-team, it’s good to see Maitland-Niles get some recognition after performing well in his Europa League and League Cup starts.

Also, Alex Iwobi, who we’d previously listed as a doubt due to his injury problems, should now have no trouble joining up with Nigeria after playing and scoring for Arsenal at the weekend.

Everything else is the same, with Alexandre Lacazette, Olivier Giroud, Shkodran Mustafi, David Ospina, Nacho Monreal, Sead Kolašinac, Aaron Ramsey, Granit Xhaka, Mohamed Elneny and Alexis Sanchez making up the remainder of players called up.

Let’s all hope for an injury-free break where all Arsenal’s players spend as little time on the pitch as possible.
