Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot has said he would be open to a move to the Premier League in the future, amid interest from Arsenal and Liverpool.

The 22-year-old is an established member of the PSG squad and a frequent starter in their first team. He does, though, have ambitions of playing in a different league one day, particularly the Premier League.

Rabiot also admitted that he had no particular club in mind, despite The Sun‘s attempts to spin his comments into something positive for Liverpool. “I think I would like to experience something else [outside Ligue 1],” he said.

“There are a lot of very good championships, it’s also very rewarding to go elsewhere. I would love to play in the Premier League, not necessarily one club in particular, even though I was very fond of Liverpool when I was young.”

Rabiot has been linked with Arsenal frequently over the years, but has opted to remain in France and fight his place in the PSG starting line-up. So far this season, he’s started in all eight of PSG’s Ligue 1 matches as well both of their Champions League outings against Celtic and Bayern Munich.

He’s a key part of Unai Emery’s team and unlikely to be let go without receiving a huge transfer fee in my opinion. Despite that, he tends to be with linked with a move to the Premier League in every transfer window. Arsenal, Tottenham, and now Liverpool have all been linked.

Rabiot has won three caps for France and I believe he will be playing for a spot in Didier Deschamps’ squad for the 2018 World Cup next summer.
